CR40 Beta Stainless Steel Shot is for use in Autoblaster Wheel Blasters and is a hard, spherical metallic blasting media developed for efficient cleaning, finishing, deburring and surface preparation. Its stainless composition makes it particularly suitable for applications where contamination from conventional carbon steel media is a concern. The durable shot provides consistent impact and can be used on suitable stainless steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous components. Its spherical shape supports uniform cleaning and finishing while producing a peened rather than sharply etched surface. Supplied in the CR40 grade and packed in 25 kg bags, it is intended for professional air-blast or compatible wheel-blast equipment and industrial applications.
CR40 Beta Stainless Steel Shot
CR40 Beta Stainless Steel Shot is a hard, spherical metallic blasting media designed for efficient surface cleaning, finishing, deburring and preparation.
CR40 is the main type of media used in Autoblasters.
Its stainless composition makes it particularly suitable for applications where contamination from conventional carbon steel blasting media is a concern. It can be used on suitable stainless steel, aluminium and other non-ferrous components.
The spherical particles deliver consistent impact across the surface, producing a uniform, peened finish rather than the sharper etched profile associated with angular abrasives. Its hardness and durability support effective and consistent blasting performance.
