HF Solvent Boost is a specialist additive for Stripper HF cold immersion paint stripping tanks. It replenishes solvent lost through use and evaporation, helping restore the chemical balance when stripping performance begins to slow.
Supplied in a 25 litre UN approved container and available following consultation with our Works Chemist. This product must only be added at the recommended dosage and must not be used as a standalone paint stripper.

HF Solvent Boost is a specialist additive developed for use with our Stripper HF cold immersion paint stripping chemical.
As a stripping tank is used, solvent levels can gradually reduce through the paint stripping process and natural evaporation. This can affect the chemical balance of the tank and lead to slower stripping times. HF Solvent Boost is used to replenish the solvent content and help restore the performance of the solution.
It is particularly useful when the tank is still producing a visible fizzing reaction but is no longer stripping as quickly as expected. Increased evaporation during warmer weather can also make a solvent boost necessary.
HF Solvent Boost is only supplied following consultation with our Works Chemist. Before ordering, we will discuss the activity, condition and volume of your stripping tank to determine whether this product is suitable.
The product must only be added at the dosage recommended by our chemist.
Do not add the full container to the tank unless specifically instructed to do so. Adding too much can disrupt the chemical balance and may make stripping performance worse rather than better.
HF Solvent Boost is an additive and must not be used as a standalone paint stripping chemical.
Store in the original container in a cool, shaded and well ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and sources of ignition. Keep the container tightly closed when not in use.
The product should be stored within a suitable bunded area, with an appropriate chemical spill kit readily available.

HF Solvent Boost is an extremely hazardous product containing dichloromethane and methanol. It is harmful if swallowed or in contact with the skin, causes skin and serious eye irritation, and may cause respiratory irritation, drowsiness or dizziness. It is also suspected of causing cancer and may cause damage to organs.
The product must only be used in a properly ventilated area with suitable extraction. Appropriate chemical resistant gloves, protective clothing, eye and face protection must be worn. Respiratory protection may also be required following a workplace risk assessment.
Always read the product Safety Data Sheet before use. The end user is responsible for completing a suitable risk assessment and selecting the correct control measures and personal protective equipment.
